Trabajo de investigación aborda el impresionismo fotográfico y urbano, estableciendo un contraste con el impresionismo en la pintura del siglo XIX. Mientras que en la pintura impresionista decimonónica se reflejaban percepciones ligadas al clima y al paso del tiempo en la naturaleza, en el contexto actual se mantienen las impresiones de movimiento y fuga. Esta evolución permite demostrar que, en el siglo XXI, la velocidad y las prisas generalizadas en las grandes urbes que  han potenciado un carácter deshumanizado e impenetrable en estos entornos.

 

Reflexión sobre tecnología, tiempo y contacto humano; en este contexto, resulta imprescindible reflexionar acerca de la priorización de las tecnologías, la búsqueda constante de la rentabilidad del tiempo y la consiguiente pérdida de contacto humano. La inmediatez y la eficiencia parecen haberse convertido en valores predominantes, relegando a un segundo plano las relaciones personales y el trato directo entre individuos.

Photographic and urban impressionism stand in clear contrast to the impressionist movement of the nineteenth century. Earlier impressionist painters captured fleeting moments, focusing on perceptions influenced by the natural world—such as changes in climate and the gentle, inevitable passage of time. In contrast, today's impressionism, especially as seen in photography and urban contexts, continues to emphasize sensations of motion and transience. However, this modern form reflects a transformation: the relentless speed and urgency that define life in major cities have shaped spaces that feel more impersonal and inaccessible. This evolution highlights a shift from the intimate connection with nature to an environment marked by detachment and complexity.

In contemporary urban life, it is essential to consider how technology, the management of time, and the reduction of personal contact influence daily experiences. The emphasis on technological progress and the unceasing drive for efficiency have contributed to a noticeable decline in personal relationships and face-to-face interactions. As immediacy and productivity rise to prominence as core values within cities, meaningful human connections are increasingly pushed aside. This shift has fundamentally changed how individuals relate to each other, reshaping the social fabric and making authentic connections more difficult to establish and maintain.
